The Black Keys Announce New Album

One album that slipped by us when creating our “Most Anticipated Albums of 2010″ post is the latest from the Black Keys.  Why did it slip by us? Well, last we heard from the Keys, they were collaborating on a hip-hop album with Damon Dash, and the return to rock came out of nowhere.  The announcement of a full fledged group album and this understated album cover have us thinking of that minimalist indie meets blues sound that we came to know and love from the Ohio duo.

The album is called “Brothers”, and will be released by Nonesuch records on May 18th.  We’ve got our fingers crossed.

    Nothing against BlackRock, just not my speed. I am happy to see the return to form. As for “Rick D” I know this guy and his favorite band is Paramore.

    I do enjoy Paramore, as well as, Avril Lavigne, and I love the Daughtry album. Do you guys no when his next album is coming out?

    I think Curt was referring to the editorial “we” b/c not all of us hated on the BlakRoc album… Pretty much anything Mos Def does is good in my book. Btw, like the site Becky.
