The new record from Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit won’t be released until next month, but the band is offering a sneak peak in the form of a free download of the disc’s lead single. The new tune, “Codeine” is fun, extremely likable, and pretty much awesome all together. I have been lucky enough to hear an advance of the new album, and I have to say that there is plenty more in store for fans of Jason and the gang when Here We Rest drops on April 12th.
