After growing up just outside of San Francisco and his touring stint with Phil Lesh and Friends, Jackie Greene has a pretty good handle on the Grateful Dead’s music.  He also seems to be a pretty nice guy, and he is giving way a free 3-song EP with his versions of Grateful Dead classics “Sugaree,” “New Speedway Boogie” and “Brokedown Palace”.  He is calling the album the “Grateful EP”, and it is available for free download on his website.
