Last month, Jakob Dylan released Women and Country, his excellent new collaboration with T-Bone Burnett and Neko Case.  He took four of these new songs to Daytrotter, putting down a new session that is now available for free download. These songs work very well as a Daytrotter session, as they don’t try to duplicate the slick production T-Bone Burnett put on the original album, a more homespun take on the material.  Three Legs fill in for Neko and Kelly Hogan on these sessions, also changing the dynamic of the recording.
