It may have been three years since their last album but The Kooks seem to be sticking to their pop formula of crafting catchy, cute, rather short, and undeniably British songs that make you want to sing along.  “Junk of the Heart (Happy)” falls right in line with the band’s former catalog and provides us with a nice little taste of their new album due out in September that the band claims is “an album to play in the sun” (well then why didn’t you release it in the summer??).  Seasonal confusion aside check out “Junk of the Heart (Happy)” below and let us know what you think.
