On his latest tour of Europe, Ryan adams has been selling a 7″ pressing of a new tune “Empty Room”, complete with an Alice in Chains cover, “Nutshell” on the B-Side. While we haven’t been able to get our hands on a physical copy of the Pax-Am release, a Youtube clip featuring the full audio of the tune showed up on the web this morning via TwentyFourBit.

The new tune finds Ryan channeling his inner Alt-Country, something we haven’t seen in a while. “If I Am a Stranger” it is not, but this tune would fit right in on Cold Roses or Jacksonville City Nights.
