While I am only cautiously optimistic about the upcoming album from Noel Gallagher, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited for the release.  Perhaps it is his self admitted Beatles obsession and his penchant for writing catchy pop tunes but I have always considered myself a fan of the elder Gallagher brother.

After a solid release from Brother Liam and his new gig Beady Eye earlier this year, Noel looks to keep up the Oasis tradition with his new album “Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds” due October 17th.  The first single from the new effort “The Death of You and Me” has just been released with a super slick new music video.  Check it out below.
