The NPR Tiny desk series showcases bands recorded live at the desk of All Songs Considered host Bob Bollen in the NPR Music office. Today, NPR posted video of an acoustic performance by Phoenix for the Tiny Desk series.  It’s quite a different look for the band, who’s sound doesn’t really scream “intimate”, but they actually pull it off quite well.  The 12 minute set features acoustic versions of “Lisztomania”, “Armistice”, “1901″, and “Playground Love”.  Check out the free video from the gig here.
