Its been 46 years since Bob Dylan set the Newport Folk Festival up in arms with an all electric performance backed by the Paul Butterfield Blues band. The festival which was founded in 1959 is still going strong today.
This year’s wonderful lineup is highlighted by the fact that the good folks at NPR recorded a number of great performances that they are now streaming free on their website. Below are the links to some MOR favorites doing their thing in Newport, check em out!
