We have long been fans of Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi in their own ventures and projects, so now that we have the full fledged collaboration we have been waiting for, we are needless to say pretty excited.

The new album doesn’t disappoint long time fans of the Soul Stew revival, and finds the husband and wife duo both doing what they do best.   Top that off with a large, and rather kick ass band and we’ve got ourselves a winner.  While Derek is certainly channeling ol’ Skydog, and Susan’s vocals will be sure to draw Bonnie Raitt comparisons – the album is fresh and extremely original in it’s own right.
