Probably the best thing about winning an Oscar is getting to have the “Academy Award Winner” title in front of your name from that moment on. Whether you are being introduced on a talk show, written about in a magazine or meeting a girl in a bar you are legally required to say it – almost like being knighted or suddenly becoming a count. Fortunately this distinction hasn’t made Ryan Bingham rest on his laurels or turn his back on what he does best, create soulful heartfelt tunes that resonate long after you hear them.
