Way back in 2008 Radiohead performed their entire In Rainbows album in producer Nigel Godrich’s basement and documented it on a BBC broadcast aptly titled “From The Basement”.  The result was an awesome performance or an awesome album that I ended up watching about 20 times.

Now that the boys are back with a new album, they are going to be headed back to the basement once again – this time with a July 1 broadcast date.  While we are admittedly not the biggest fans of the King of Limbs , it should be interested to see these tracks performed live.

Today, BBC dropped a video from the sessions, featuring a new song called “Staircase” that didn’t appear on King of Limbs.  The song and the performance are quite good.   Check it out below.
