The White Stripes – The End
It’s been about 13 1/2 years since the White Stripes formed on Bastille Day in 1997, and now it has officially come to an end. Today on the band’s website, they posted an announcement that put an end to any whispers of a reunion.
Rather than sitting around and moping about it, we decided to pull together a quick playlist of some of our favorite tunes from the band’s more than impressive run. So whether you are a hardcore Stripes fan or a casual observer, now is as good a time as any to tune in to one of the best bands in a very long time doing what they do best.

nice choices but nada from their S/T? add Do or Wasting My Time or one of my all time faves, I Fought Piranhas. The Dylan cover on that album is top notch. Gawd, I miss them already.
The White Stripes are cool and all, but I thought they broke up years ago. WHat’s the big deal?
To each their own, but I think a band of the Stripe’s caliber breaking up at the very least warrants a retrospective playlist. Pretty big deal from where I’m sitting.
